Young Couple Adoption in Arizona

Young Couple Adoption in Arizona

Can younger couples adopt in Arizona? Absolutely! As an expectant mother creating an adoption plan, you have the option to choose the family that will adopt your unborn child and that might include a younger couple.

When working with Adoption Choices of Arizona, you will be given several family profiles to review. The profiles of the families will directly reflect the characteristics that you desire in the family (you will have discussed this with your adoption counselor). Younger couple adoption is an option!

Characteristics might include the family dynamic, ethnic background, family traits and values, or even where they live. Other characteristics that you desire might include the age of the adoptive family. You may choose a family, couple, or single who is younger to adopt your child. There are many reasons why you might want to choose a younger age family/person to adopt your child, and there are many reasons why people choose adoption at younger ages.

Some of these reasons might include:

  • The desire to start or grow a family
  • Known infertility trouble or inability to become pregnant
  • Growing a diverse family
  • Desire to help a woman with an unplanned pregnancy

Some more advantages of younger age adoptions:

  • Young enthusiasm & energy
  • Time and patience
  • Healthy and more active
  • Extended life expectancy allows longer active parenting years

If you truly want to parent, age is not an obstacle. If you want a younger couple/single to adopt your child, it is possible. To begin your adoption journey, contact Adoption Choices of Arizona online or call us to discuss your options!

If the Department of Child Protective Services is involved in your life, private adoption (where you choose the adoptive parents), is still an option for you. Do not hesitate to call. There is only a small window of time that you have to make an adoption plan and the baby can be released from the hospital directly to the adoptive family.

We will come to your hospital room or wherever you want to meet and walk you through the process of making a life long plan for your baby.

Learn About Adoption

No one knew I was pregnant. My plan was to have the baby and use Safe Haven at the hospital. When the hospital social worker told me CPS was Safe Haven or I could pick my own family through an adoption agency – I did not want my baby in a foster home so I called Adoption Choices. They were in my room in less than an hour, helped me with the paperwork and my discharge. I did this in the best interest of my baby. Sometimes I’m sad… but I know my baby is happy and in a wonderful home.
